BELGIAN GROWTH FUND II. Advance notice: Request for Proposals for the selection of a fund manager

The Federale Participatie- en Investeringsmaatschappij / Société Fédérale de Participations et d’Investissement, is sponsoring the set-up of a fund called the Belgian Growth Fund II to invest in funds with a special focus on (any of or multiple of the following): later stage venture capital, growth financing and scale-up financing, thereby indirectly enlarging and deepening access to risk capital for fast growing small and medium- sized companies. The fund is expected to attract private investors in majority and will be managed by a fund manager. The Federale Participatie- en Investeringsmaatschappij / Société Fédérale de Participations et d’Investissement has started a process on behalf of the fund to select such a fund manager to perform fund management services. The target size of Belgian Growth Fund II will be EUR 350 million.
